Anet A8 board to Bigtreetech SKR 1.4 (Turbo)

My Anet A8 board died and I needed a replacement.

After watching several videos and reading a lot, I managed to wire everything. But I missed a diagram explaining what and how it should be connected. Then I have created a diagram of how to move the wiring to the new SKR 1.4 (BTT).

SKR 1.4 and SKR 1.4 Turbo have the same connections, so the diagram is valid for both of them.

I had a mosfet in the Anet A8. It’s not required in the SKR, but it doesn’t harm.

The wires of ‘Fan 1’ and ‘Fan 2’ must be swapped. That is easy with the JST connector. However, it is not easy to explain and a video is worth a than a thousand pictures. Just do the same.

I have a BLTouch for Z-axis too. It has five cables. It should work if you connect it as the image below.

In case you prefer not to use it you should connect the physical Z endstop from Anet A8 board to SKR 1.4. It should be connected in the labeled ‘Z Stop’ connector. Above the SERVOS connector in the picture.

I have the BTT TFT35-E3 V3. It is a nice display with the hybrid mode.

It includes three wires. Two flat wires and a 5 pin dupont connector.

I created a wiring diagram, showing where each cable should be transferred from Anet A8 board to the great BigTreeTech SKR 1.4 board.

I hope it could help you.
